Chu 3

My goodness. Its chu3 liao. Meaning school will starts tml. How? I'm still in a festive mood. I haven't finished bai nian or gamble. They should extent the holidays to the whole of this week. Going back to school really sux.

Oh well. Should be doing my snowballing school stuff now and not slack nw. But now is still chu 3. The rest of the stuff can put on hold first. Some recaps:

chu 1: went over to grandma's place to bai nian. there's lot of relatives that i haven't seen for ages but still, we need some ice-breaker session. the grown-ups just engaged in their conservation while the youths are stoning there. just waiting for things to happen. afterall i meet most of my relatives during important occasions so aren't really close. haha.
After that, i went over to sk's hse to gamble. the gathering of my sec sch frenx. lose money but xiao aci bu qu, da cai bu ru right?

chu 2: sleeping half of my day away. Too tired frm the nite gambling. Didm't do much for the day apart frm gamble again. Haha. this time round is mahjong. lucky this time round i won money. quite heng.

chu3: my jc clique came knocking on my door. had a great time sharing juicy news and updates of their lives. time may be short so cherish the moment. after which we went over to yz's hse, mr goh's hse and finally my dear Xl's hse. her hse is really damm big sia. just like a si wai tao yuan. haha. when you settled down in sg, i must pay u more visit. *evil smile. haha.

That's all. An unusual email for all of you to see:

Dear Li,

This is such an important question that I felt that it would be important
to answer to all students who may be affected by the very serious
predicament of an exam being held on the morning of Valentines Day. Hence:

Dear all students (and especially those who may be romantically involved
with another),

In setting the exam date for corporate finance I thought long and hard
about the impact of it coinciding with Valentines Day. Would exam
preparation be affected by shopping for perfume, flowers or the latest
Anthony Callea cd? What about young lovers who planned on meeting for an
early morning latte, a sugar-coated biscotti and a sharing of the Age's
Epicure section at Brunetti's? Isn't life hard enough without having all
the joy of the international day of lovers taken away by some cold-hearted
academic eager to finish the exam period off and get to his summer chalet
in Dromana? For who was I to stand in the way of young love, for wasn't I
also young once?

With grim resolve, steely determination, a stiff upper lip, a hand of fate,
a nose for trouble, a tennis elbow and an eye for detail I put forward my
claim on behalf of the lovestruck to the Grand Poobah of exam timetabling:
"He-who-must-not-be-named-but-who-enjoys-setting-exams-for-large-classes-late-in-the-exam-period-so-as-to-frustrate-lecturers-in-charge".
In his infinite wisdom he replied:

"But Sean, what of our students of Italian, Chinese or Brazilian origin?
For surely you know that in ancient Rome it was the festival of Lupercus,
the god of fertility that was celebrated by young lovers on the 15th (not
the 14th) of February. In China, Valentines day is superceded by "The Night
of Sevens" (being the 7th day of the 7th month of the lunar calender) and
in Brazil, June 12th marks the date of celebrating "Dia dos Namorados"
(lit. "Day of the enamored", or "Boyfriend's/Girlfriend's Day"). Surely my
friend, you are not suggesting that we alienate young lovers from each of
these other important members of the university community?"?[Reference:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentine's_Day]

So, with head bowed and with great contrition I apologised to
"He-who-must-not etc" for interrupting his musings on whether to set the
next lot of the exams under the clocks at Flinders Street Station, in the
Great Southern Stand at the MCG or in the roundabout on the corner of
Elizabeth street and Royal Parade and returned to my office.

Students, and (specifically Li) know this: I fought law and the law won,
you have to know when to hold and know when to fold them, love is a
battlefield. Now it is up to you to put it behind you, to show that true
love can't be beaten by a three hour exam, even with an additional 15
minutes reading time.

Study hard friends.

IT's CNY

IT's CNY

Finally CNY. Quite a long holiday this year considering the fact that holidays includes chu3 too. Just back frm watching "Fearless' with yz n jeff. Quite a show worth watching. This movie is themed jet lee's last martial act movie. Action-packed show. But the storyline is kinda what u expect. If you want to know then go and watch the show lor.

Guess that most ppl should be still awake now. Legends have this story abt one should not sleep early on cny eve cos this will help to prolong your parents' lifespan. But then it's just a supersition. You can choose not to believe it. Some ppl should be either at chinatown, gambling, out with friends or meetin zhou gong. Whaha. Well hope everyone will enjoy this few days and HUAT when gambling.

Just meet up with jh to get some stuff. Nice catching up with him. Even though im not very close to him, but there's still quite a lot of things to catch up like uni life, life in 21SA back then and the workload in uni now. Well how times flies manz. Before we knew it we are already in the year of Sparky. (I duno how the year of DOG become sparky, can someone pls enlighten me?)

And once again i encounter another problem ytd. When i shop for stuff, they dont have my size again. So suay. i rem me encountering this problem many many times liao. So most of the time i ended up with my 2nd choice purchase or nth at all. Sad right?

Yz just reminded me that there's a long march on chu3. haha. Long march is a practice whereby we go house to house to collect hongbaos. I forgot when this practice is born. But i tink im the one who came up with this term. Speaking of the joy of receiving. Lol.

Though this shd be a happy start, but my dear reb has fallen sick. You better take care and abstrain yourself from unhealthy food. This year is supposed to be quite a good year for 'TIGERS'. Those in the year of RAT, PIG and OX should enjoy goof fortune. But this year isnt a good year for DRAGOn. Wonder how true is it?

Oh well now im wide awake. Must be the afternoon nap i took just now. Nth much to do now also. i shall post some pics to liven up my blog.

The story goes:
Venue: Northvale
Objective: To help someone exericise.

Me getting ready for the battle of the century.

I'm all geared up. Can you all see the tennis ball?

Will be making a twisted serve. haha.

See the tennis ball? The ball becomes ovalish instead of round.

Amazing right? Lol.

With that move well-executed, my opponent has no choice but to let me perfect an ACE shot.

I'm in such a serious posture you know.

The pretty photographer and the forever shuai me of cos.

An extraordinary day at tennis court.

Mr. 81

Mr. 81

Oh my goodness. Kobe Bryant just scored 81 pts in a match against Raptors. Is he really that good or raptors too cui liao? Years back he was touted as jordan's successor but till now he still can't emulate the greatness of jordan who has won 6 championsip rings. Well perhaps im biased against kobe but i don't think he's that good. He may be enjoying a fine run of form at the moment but this is at the expense of his teamates. Basketball should be a team game and this incident has reflected how selfish kobe is. He took on the scoring load, making his teamates look so medicore. I won't want to be in such a team. From my perception, he has looked down on his teamates who i tink are decent players. Just because he has won championship before doesn't give him to right to look down on his average teammates. So is he a hero?

Well this has triggered my thinking cap. In this society, there's definitely disparity in terms of abilities. To go for individual glory or team glory, that's your call. But one should see what situation one is in. For eg, i dun like ppl who try to act smart or xu wei. If you are good, just say so. Don't need to act humble. If you got no ability to speak of, pls do not fooled the others. You no need to put down others down just to cheng tuo yourself.

Capricorn

Capricorn

A man in this Zodiac will has a pair of round big beautiful eyes, a nice structure jaw line. He is a good listener and can understand everything easily and clearly. He can guess what you will say before you even say it. He often shakes his head or touches his hair. He is a big built, but he will tend to have a small ear. He tends to have a darker shade of hair and eyes' colour. He will likely have a short and strong neck, broad shoulder, muscular, strong hands and grips. He has a shorter fingers compare to the man of the same size and sameheight in the other zodiac. His hands can work well at the same time can protect and care for his woman.

His height will be proportional to his weight. He will walk firmly and always take a big long step. As he walkshe will look around in caution with no disturbance from his problems at present or in the past. He likes to watch things built with fascinate and wonder about how it is done, so you could see him watching aconstruction site and not get bored.

It is his luck that he hardly has to chase after woman. They always come themselves without his invitation. Helikes to treat his guest in his house than visiting his guest at their house. He does not like to be a centre ofattention, so if you need his help, you have to look up for him. He lives his life in stability and simplicity. Everydecision made are already "Sure" and carefully thought out. He will not do what he has been asked to do if heis not interested in doing it. He acts casually but in reality, he always doing things seriously.

He loves peaceful and quiet environment so in his free time, he will stay at home instead of going out andlook for adventure. He loves nature and dreams of a nice and quiet house with lots of trees, or he may dreamof a house in a beautiful countryside.

He will let you have freedoms and watching you in a distance. If you are over doing something, he will let youknow by his icy cold look. He is the perfect lover in the entire Zodiac for nothing he will not do for his love one.He won't allow people to laugh at him or think he is a joker, so he will spent for himself luxury for what it is worth.

He likes neat and well dressed woman, so do not be a slop if you are dating this guy. If you do that he willloose his face. He is the romantic type who would dance with you under the moon light.

Love will make him shines and you will see it in his face. He will not say it out loud, you have to know it yourself.

My horoscope: courtesy from Ada. Well don't take it seriously since some of the stuff mentioned isn't true. So who wants to read their own horoscope?

New template

New template

Finally changed my template. Nice ornot? Not nice also must say nice hor. Anyway seldom blog nowadays cos there's quite a lot of stuff to be done and don't really feel like blogging. Finally the weather has changed for the better and the sun had decided to stop skiving. The sun had been taking MC for the past few weeks lor. Time for the sun to do more work. This also means that i can swim and play tennis due to this favourable weather. Shiok right? Defintely better than raining whole day long.

So what have i been up to lately? Just a small recap. Been doing canvassing AKA karang guni for the past 2 weekends. The first was at sengkang and can you believe it that it rained the whole day? Everyone who was involved in it was drenched and a few of us fallen sick. Whay a day to do karang guni. After that week, we did another karang guni at sembawang. The weather was good but my dear kc put me in her grp. Well for this karang guni thing right, we are divided into groups and each group are supposed to collect old newspapers or clothing from the blocks allocated. But strangly im involved in several grps all thankx to kc n rh. haha. Must special mention both of your names. Dont worry. No grudge. Afterall it is more like a bonding session instead of canvassing since the money earned is quite pathetic. To those in main comm: what will life be w/o these few enthu, loving, adorable subcommers? Haha.

Also, there was this morning that something drama happened. I took a train to boon lay mrt. Then guessed what happened? There was this lady who got up from her seat and knocked against my elblow. Upon the impact, she fall back to her seat and and lying there. For a second, I was stunned. I thought she concussed from the impact and i wanted to help her up. But before i could help her, she got up herself. Then i just apologise to her even though im not in a wrong but it wont hurt to apologize right? What a morning to begin with. The moral of story: Look before you get up from your seat. Don't be so engrossed in your own world.

Now it's time for commercial break. NTU CAC Freshmen Orientation Camp Committee Proudly Presents 'Lovely Affairs'. You can order lovely flowers to your loved ones or your friends too. Enjoy cheaper rates when you ordered now. Check out this site for more details. Vday specials.
You may contact me if still in doubt. Anyway im not earning any commission from it unless kc or rh decide to give me for my HARD work. Whaha.

Sianzz, it's time to meet up with my gangs of tutorials. I'm lagging behind school work but still enjoying life. Somemore next wk is CNY liao. Time for hongbaos and CNY marathon. xl rem to contact me when you arrived back in sg. And rh, you enjoyed your life in aussie and we will help you to take your hongbaos. Hope that i will ahve a windfall this year. Whaha.

A season of bdays

A season of Bdays

omg, didn't know I never update this blog for so long liao. There's lots of stuff to be done lately. To name a few, canvassing, meet-ups and gatherings.

Have a belated-bday celebration at bukit panjang plaza again. Thankx to lcm for arranging this. Felt so loved. Haha. Anyway bukit panjang plaza had changed quite a lot. Now there's lots of stuff there. You ppl shd check out the place when you are free.

Some updates of me.
Chilling at holland V with chris,wl and des. Thankx for the bday treat. This journey has been made possible by our very own mazda 3 owner, mr ong weilun.

On the 6th, received some surpises. Didn't expect shuqin to give me a bday present. Afterall i didn't know her that well. Surprise no.2 : presents n card frm lecture grp clique. Didnt know that they know my bday sia. Thought this year no1 will rem since i keep it a low-key event. Appreciate all the efforts.

Then after lessons, i spend the rest of the day wif reb. Nth fanciful but we managed to finish a cake. Unbelievable right? My stomach so full until the extent that i couldn't eat anymore despite my greediness. Haha.

Meet up with another army frenx for another bday celebration. This time round is at changing appetite at marina sq. My first visit there and i tink the food is so so only. Appreciate the efforts for organising this.

Went for canvassing on sun at sengkang. It rained the whole day, can you believe it? That's my first visit to sengkang and lucky ada's fren had a shorter route frm cck to sengkang. Sengkang is sooo far. Did some karang guni at there but i was wet most of the times. The rain jus refused to stop and we are at the mercy of the weather. Hope that the coming sun canvassing the rain will stop.

Anyway i have some reflections. In a relationship, it's always gd to show appreciation and to be appreciated. Some ppl tends to be carried by other events in their life and tends to neglect the close fren ard them. Some ppl tend to be closer to the frenx they made in new environment instead of making efforts to maintain the relationship with old frenx. Some ppl dun even know how to 'zuo ren' and this will only make the efforts of the peers ard them to be unappreciated.

Oh well that's some reflections and for this yr, it seems to be my bday everyday. Thankx to my frenx for the treats and the gifts. Really appreciated this.

2006

2006

What am i blogging at such an unearthly hour? I just reach back home not long ago and nw waiting for hair to dry. 2005 had ended with a bang but 2006 has begin with sorrow. When i need cab that time, there wasn't any cab in sight. To make things worst, all cab companies phone lines are engaged. How to go home like that? I want to spend money also cannot. There's lots of cabs out there in the streets but to my dismay, all is either on call or busy. What the hell! What are all the phone operators doing? And Comfort which is supposed to have the largest fleets of cabs is not doing its job well either. Arghhh. Normally i can just flag a cab anytime i want. What a bad start in 2006! What is life w/o a car? Damn bad experience with cabs. Anyway in the end i managed to flag a cab to get home. Life is so funny.

Enough of my complaints. Just have my countdown at indoor stadium. There's a ABC beer countdown party over there and I'm supposed to help out with the things there. Unique way of countdown right? Don't ask me for my salary cos every sweat i perspired goes to foc fund. Noble right?

Actually the job is quite slack. After doing some manual work, the foc gang went to skive. We went to go and watch the concert instead. Haha. The guests for the night are all chinese singers. Dick and cowboy, wang jie and grasshoppers. They used to be very popular but now, i doubt ppl still rem them. However some of their songs still remain the all time favourite. Anymore lobang for concert helpers? I want!!! The money is good and i get to skive and see celebrities too. Perhaps there's helpers needed in the upcoming sun yanzi's concert?

Last day of the year

Last day of the year

31st dec. Last day of 2005. Shd i rejoice since it is the start of a new year or shd i look back into the memories of 2005? Tough qns right? Well 2005 is full of memorable stuff and also stuff that shd be erased frm memory. However 2005 is something to rem.. From NSF to student. Those still serving NS, your turn will come very soon. Then you can shout 'ORD lor'

3 more days left. Sch reopening on the 3th. So sianz. How come holidays so short. I haven't fully enjoyed myself. Next holiday must plan to go abroad. Japan, korea or aussie? Anyone want to sponsor? I know there's a lot of rich tai-tais here. Ada pls? Lol.

Just have a lunch buffet at Pariss. The courtesy of yy. Thankx yy for bringing me there. I have been wanting to pay that place a visit but it's too ex for me. There's lots of stuff to be eaten. I particularly liked the chocolate fountain. Reminds me of "charlie and the choco factory". Thank for arranging this but feels bad letting you treat sia.

Didn't know that registration of modules is such a hassle. To make a beautiful timtable, you have to think means and ways to accomodate all timings w/o overlapping each module. Tedious. I think my current timtable is the best i can create. Not going to think anymore. Hope i can get the electives i want. So far i tink Reb has the best timetable. Having a 4 day wk timetable. So shiok. Then canvassing at indoor stadium tml. I wonder how will the job be like on new yr eve. A new experience. Will it be fun or is just a dirty job? We shall see. (kc, be prepared. Lol)

Since it's going to be a new yr, there are stuff that I will love to have. Hey steve, when are u bringing the canadian babes to my hse? Yz, see the space below. *Hint hint..

I HOPE to have.....
  • a new bag to carry to school
  • new shirts,t-shirts,jeans to wear
  • a watch (a fossil watch will certainly delight me. Haha.)
  • board shorts (can be beach boy)
  • a new iriver mp3 flash player
  • a laptop (that you all can get to see me online more often)
  • a car of my own (I know is a bit far-fetch)
  • an air tix to aussie (it's quite cheap. lol)
  • some personalised gifts (can be cards or anything)
  • go xl hse to bai nian (expecting a FAT hongbao)
  • powerboat licence
  • learn wakeboard,snokerling,scuba-dive (ambitious right? rh u still interested?)
  • fun at FOC camp. (Time for me to sabo ppl)
  • dean list (slim chance though)

My wish-list very realistic right? Anyway not planning to have any celebration this year so anyone wants to date this ugly, lonely, poor guy? Haha.

Ginger breadman

The loved little Ginger breadman

Eski Bar

Eski Bar

Getting more and more broke. Bdays and expensive dinner again. Bought a wallet for yz but he just got a new wallet. What a bad present. Then had dinner with ct,yz and jeff at swensons instead of food republic suggested eariler. I shall refrain from going out now.

Been hearing abt this Eski Bar for mths and finally been to there on the 26th dec. It was damm impromptu as jeff, chin tee,yz and me were at wheelock place before that. Then jeff suddenly thought of this Eski bar and since none of us had been to there, we decided to check out the place at Holland V.

We took a cab to Holland V since it doesn't cost much to travel from wheelock to holland v. Upon reaching there, we look out for the signboard "Eski Bar" and the signboard was quite striking.

The inside of the bar wasn't that cold and you definitely can survive w/o the sweaters. Lucky for us, we managed to find a place to settle down as the place was quite small. Perhaps is the luck of the bday boy, yz?

At there, we ordered drinks and start to play zhong ji mi ma. The forfeit is that the loser will go inside the subzero chamber for 2 mins. To endure 1 min inside the subzero chamber is okay but for 2 mins, it's freezzzzzzing cold. We played at few rounds and I went in the most. Damn suay. Yz u heng lor. We never sabo you much. Lol.

From there, I knew 2 gals, sky and amy. They were first-timers there too and brought some games to play in the chamber. They not scared of the coldness sia. But this amy very weird. From the way she asked me and yz qns, I suspect she's a graduate from NUS eng faculty and is coming to NTU soon, either as lecturer or donig her masters. Nice knowing them though. However, we should have brought some games too. Maybe next time. This place is quite a good place for small gathering. Waitresses are friendly too. You guys shd check this out.

Shuai-ges:

Finally he gets to pose for a photo. Who wants his number?

The interior of the place

Nice decor right? All the things made of ice. Cold.

Didn't capture the snowman at the back properly.

It's winter time. Wear the jacket quite cool rite?

Reflection (part 2)

Reflection (part 2)

pf see, I'm doing the update now so don't complain liao. Results are out and thank goodness I never dabao. But this doesn't mean I'm satisfied with my results. The results are too sucky compared to my peers. Think next sem have to buck up liao.

Then today while chatting with serene, she suddenly asks what's my name sia. Feel like slapping her. Know me so long liao but duno my BIG name. Then she went on to say I never stress my name whenever i tok to her. Next time I'm going to stress my name liao.

Been staying at home recently to do up some xmas stuff. Staying at home can save money but is boring. Then ytd there is 40% discount for NETS user at world of sports. Last day liao. Managed to ask mum to buy teva scandals for me..

Just been to jurong point today to get a xmas present. There's so many sales going on. It's hard for one not to shop. But I stick to my objective and only browse around and went to perlini silver to get my stuff.

Well tml will be going to pasir ris park for foc bbq. Hope will be fun tml. One thing to worry: It has been raining everyday so RAIN god, you better don't rain tml. If you want, rain before i stepped out of my house. Haha.

So continuing part 2:

July:
A happening month.7 days in taipei. It always feel great to be in a foreign land. Their lifestyle differs from us and I notice pedestrains there do not have the right of way. So when crossing the roads, you better keep your eyes open.
After the taipei trip, I attended cac camp. I think the cac camp theme is abt me sia. Still rem the fish n co nite whereby my name can be heard for every game segment. The noise level was so deafening that I'm like the star for the nite. 'Thank' to velcoe ppl for making me so high-profile. Kaiching you should be thankful that the whole camp ppl get to know you too.
After which NTU sch term starts.

August:
First pageant for me. Not much ppl know abt this thing. Never call ppl to support too cos it's so embarrassing. The preparation was tiring and sucky. Didn't like the lifestyle at all. But have fun fitting clothes and knowing ppl from the ball comm side. Didn't win the paegant of cos. I'm too bo chup liao. Maybe I shd have take more pride in it. But anyway it's a good experience for me.

September:
Lectures, tutorials and tests. Boring lifestyle in school. No major event i guess.

Oct:
Same old rountine but this time round preparing for exams. Oh ya, still rem that stupid mich called me frm NZ, saying she's from ntu admin.

Nov:
Exams. What else? uni should scrape exams.

Dec:
Holidays. So envious of fren that went abroad for holidays. That idiot wl went gold coast. Wei aun go turkey. And ada go turkey too. I think they want to eat turkey from Turkey. The turkey over there must be delicious. Well holidays are ending soon, so u folks enjoy your remaining holidays.

Reflections of this year( part 1)

Reflections of this yr (part 1)

Spend the whole day nua-ing at home. Don't want to do anything and too broke to do anything too. Have to curb my spending if not I will be spending the remaining holidays at home.

Just asked a few chaps to play bball tml and the response is not bad. But then there's this particular yeng hoe who is so wishy washy. Can't stand ppl that are so indecisive. If you want to play just say okay. Don't need to ask this ask that. It's a complete WASTE of time and sms. If I can't find enough ppl, I will tell you so what's there to worry? Heard from other ppl that asking you is like asking gal to go out like that. Don't think you are like that in the past. What has nus done to you? You shd buck up on your social etiquette. Anyway don't think you are reading this. If you happen to know this blog then let this be a reminder to you.

Well end of yr is nearing but what have I done in this yr? Quite a fruitful year. Update me if I forgot some events. Part 1:

Jan:
The start of 2005. Had a 21st bday celebration with close frens from everywhere. May it be pri, sec,jc or outside frenx. Truly enjoy their company.
Deaparture for NZ army trip for 3 wks. Before the trip, the feeling wasn't good as I was one of the few ones who are chosen to go on an exercise before ORD. During the trip, the feeling had changed and the exercise ground is beautiful.Compared to local exercise gound, this is motivating. Their army camp feels liek a chalet. Get to tour around the city of auckland and learn more about their lifestyle. Definitely an eye-opener.

Feb:
Clearing off and leave mostly. Back in camp for some stupid stuff only. Other than that is adapting back to civilian world.

Mar:
Double happiness. ORD lor. Receive my 'lost' pink ic. Shortly after that, I receive my driving licence on my first attempt. Rejoice!!!

Apr:
Busy working at nus. Actually not busy but this is the most slack job that I ever done. Spend time knowing more people in NUSSU. Know this 16 yr-old kid who claimed that he could slam and a few babes from the singtel booth side.

May:
Still working but not at nus anymore. Had a few short-term jobs before working at Standard Chartered. Life became routine but the pay was good. However not as slack as the job before.

June:
Still at Standard Chartered. However the bank shifted to tampiness and so I decided to resign. Spend rest of the time contributing to sg's economy.$$$

Spoilt of plans

Spoilt of plans

Received a sms frm siewling in the morn. She just informed me that the ubin chalet over the wkend is postponed to 31st dec. I thought she's the one who booked this ubin chalet but actually she is just an organiser. Her frenz are the ones who booked the chalet and they just informed her the changes. She's so guilty and apolegetic towards me but actually i don't blame her la. I know it isn't her fault and at least she informed me abt the changes early. This shd be the way the things shd be done. I dislike when changes are made at the very last min. It only goes to show that how irresponsible and not organised you are since ppl take the trouble to make time for you and yet you take this for granted. Sorry to lcm,sy,yk and reb. lcm i know you brought your stuff to camp liao. Pai sei. At the most i bring you to sentosa to see your babes. Whaha.

Then, ytd just receive a sms from guang jin. A long lost pri sch frenz sia. It seems that there's a pri sch gathering @ fish & co. A pri sch gathering out of the blue. Wonder why he so enthu organising such stuff. Ever sinec i graduate i don't meet up with them anymore unless i happen to bump into them. Not bad sia. At least he still rem to call me along. Since now the ubin chalet is postponed, I should consider turning up for the gathering. Oh ya, pf if u still wana play badminton on mon, I'm free le.

Those who haven't watch King Kong, you shd do so cos it's really a nice movie. It's worth paying to watch. Mich, your serving improves. Your arms must be aching now rite? And RH (ruihang), nice catching up with you ytd. Didn't know that you read this lousy blog of mine. (glare at xl for revealing the exclusive blog of mine.Haha.) Can see that you are having a great time in aussie. A word for those who see this: Do tag unless you want to remain anoymous.

Sentosa here i come

Sentosa here i come

Itching to go to sentosa for a long while and finally went there today. Heard that there's lots of new attraction over there and i wana see the new stuff too. I'm a singaporean u know?

Met reb to go sentosa and happened to bump into her frenx. I have heard about the new luge ride in sentosa and want to try it. It seems that reb's frenx are first-timers too and they want to try out too. I heard about how fun the luge ride was and rh, you said it's exicting too rite? Well I tried the ride and was fairly satisfied with it since I don't have high expectation for it. $8 per ride, that's quite expensive. The tracks are not that challenging and if you compare the luge ride in auckland, the NZ ride is much exciting.

Firstly, in sentosa, the tracks are fairly straight, meaning you don't need to turn much at bends. In auckland, the bends are certainly much challenging and you can even visualise you dropping off the cliffs if you are not careful.

Secondly, sentosa only offers 1 course mode while in auckland, they offer 4 course modes, namely, beginner, intermediate, expert and scenic. Seriously buying mutiple rides in sentosa is stupid since you will go the same course again and again. Sorry if i accidentally offend anyone. haha.

Anyway, we should applause sentosa for bringing this idea from abroad even though there's still room for improvement. At my stay in auckland, i was quite fascinated by this luge ride. Compared to the go-kart in escape theme park, it's more exciting and fun. I was thinking to myself how come there's no such thing in singapore since the technology used is relatively simple. Then shortly after, sentosa finally got such thing. Those who haven't try it, it's worth a try.

Then after that, i went to the beach and nua there. Damn shiok to be idling in the beach. Stay there for quite some time before going for dinner at Burger King.

After that we proceed to muscial fountain. It has been ages since I last stepped there. The place was so crowded that we had difficulty finding seats. i would say the musical fountains is an under-publicise attraction of sentosa. The images made by the lasers and water fountains are so lovely and one should go there and see for himself. Definitely a great difference since i last saw it. And most importantly, admission is free of charge, so you all should just go and take a look.

What a lengthy entry. Time to zzz.

Maxed out

Maxed out

When i woke up today, i am feeling tired. Why? Becos of mich. Last nite she's too 'high' liao, chatted for several hours. Siao manz. Today chris last min jio me to play bball after tennis. I was still deciding whether to play bball after tennis. Tennis as usual, i won hands down. Lol. Better challengers pls. Just kidding. But playing tennis with teck and chris is damn entertaining. At least we joke around, jokingly say need 4 balls to create 4 aces serve.

After the game of tennis, chris and i go makan and bump into pf. So qiao hor. pf dun everytime stalk me la. After that, we meet des and went to bpcc to play bball. Skills still rusty. Really duno how to shoot sia. Always hit the back of the rim. Fed up. Then as usual alywin is late again. Whaha. But really have fun playing bball at kangwei's condo. Didn't know that his condo got bball court sia. Play a full court game with some strangers and managed to beat them. Too zai sia. All thank to chris for his endless running up and down the court. This match really drained out my energy and at times i was strolling. Time to train up my stamina.

Nth much to blog

Nth much to blog

I think blogging is less interesting than forum. Still rem the days where ey and pf will beef up my forum with some uni topics. They really contribute a lot and it's a pity that the forum is shut down. Also, edward aka fish putting some rubbish post. But all is history and now I will start to blog.

Ytd lcm and I went to sizzler to celebrate sy's 21st bday in advance. That stupid steve put paper aeroplane again. To dine over there is costly, ard $30 per head. The main course I ordered was disappointing (lime chilled prawns) , but one still can look forward to its free flow of soup, salad and ice-cream. Overall still not bad, just that it's pricey. Got a brown leather espirit sling bag for sy. Reason for choosing that? Sy going to start sch next yr and guess that he needs a sling bag to get ard in uni. Sy, hold tight, going to ORD soon le. Regain back of freedom. And hope you really like the bag, not 'fu yan' me de. And today siew ling just sms me asking me if i'm interested in the ubin chalet. kinda like that place as it's so relaxing over there and you can venture out in the wilderness. Still considering abt the offer though.

Just played tennis and swim today with lcm and mw. mw damm off-form today sia. Cannot serve properly. At least lcm starting getting the hang of it. With more practice he shd be able to improve. Seems like more and more tennis khakis liao.

Just watched a drama serial, this 1 scene that depicts a guy drowning in the seas and he has been holding onto something for the past 12hr. Amazing rite. Then a chopper unit has been alerted and they embark on the rescue mission to save this guy. To locate the guy in the sea is difficult and after much effort they managed to locate this guy. This shows that as long as there's effort, any obstacles can be overcome. But in the end the guy died in hospital. This shows another thing: Sometimes even though there's lots of effort, you still can't get what you want.

Some updates

Updates..

mon- played tennis with teck,wl and jeff

Playing tennis is so shiok. and wl u definitely improve since you got a killer move now. Been such a while since i last saw teck. he looks even more shuai liao. any takers? Also both wl and jeff upgrade their tennis racket liao, time to upgrade mine.

tues- went for interview @wild wild wet for some canvassing before going to lewis' chalet.

Saw my shimei there. Hey thought u say u are going on another day? Also, rh's voice very sexy lor. haha. Well, saw a lot of unfamilar faces over there. Don't know is i short-term memory or those chaps are relatively new. Wild wild wet looks norm except for its Samsung ride whereby 2 of you juz slide down in a float. Other than that, it looks similar to Jurong East complex. If J\E include the samsung ride, i think ppl will flcok to there since the admission charges vary a lot. $10++ vs $1.50.

At the chalet, we have fun bbq-ing until pf's parents came ba. They complain about the food not being cooked blah blah blah and then suddenly nobody feels like bbq-ing liao. They shouldn't come if they wana eat cooked food. Haha. And lirong was suaned by me until she wana die sia. Lucky she can take suan-ing or else i will die sia. At one point of the time everyone was current news sia. See, we are so cultured. But the chalet is like another min-foc gathering. All thankx to pf and lewis again.

wed- nua at home. time to rest
Home sweet home. Been a while since i really stay at home. Meet lcm for lunch and cut hair. My wallet really getting slimmer as the days went by. Any kind souls to donate money to me?

I'll spread my wings
And I'll learn how to fly
I'll do what it takes
Till I touch the sky
And I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change
And break away

Out of the darkness
And into the sun
But I won't forget all the ones that I love
I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change
And break away
