Now on my priority list is to catch up with my tutorials and to finish a presentation on tech comm. This sem is so sucky and draining. Can't wait for exams to be over.......

Another Singapore Idol created
I'm sure by now u guys know who is the current Singapore Idol even though u never follow this season 2. This news is all over the media. For this season I totally never watch at all. Somehow the show seemed boring and the novelty wore off. Now there's so many similar shows like project superstar, campus superstar, suria superstar but are these contests really held in search of the next stefanie sun or kit chan of singapore? Does they really want to groom the winners into the next superstar? Did the past winners really get groomed? A foolish thinking is that they are trying to create idols out of everyone. Imagine you are in a street full of idols then what will singapore become?

Finally the break is here!!!!
Break is finally here. The break is a pitstop for everything. Things that u haven't had a chance to do. Things that u supposed to do. And also the mentality that u feel like dropping dead, ignoring anything and everything. Well there are hundred and one things for me to do bUT i chose to change the blogskin. Haha. Nice or not? Comment.
Well recess is indeed a great time to catch up with those sucky engineering core modules. Some of the stuff till now I dont even know what is happening. Everything seems so different now. Perhaps my brain isn't as good as before. Things just seem so abstract to me. I finally understand why engineering degree is not a popular choice among singaporeans. It's just too taxing.
Anyway for those who don't know what I been doing besides schooling, I took up golf lessons at warren country club. It's a 7-wk course organised by NTU. Golf definitely don't seem as simple as it seems to be. It's so hard. So far can only manage shots around 50m range. I definitely have to buck up. Sometimes i wonder if now I'm too old to learn new sport?
Anyway who wants to go cableski/sentosa/basketball/tennis this recess?Msg me!!!

priority??
Sometimes i just wonder how does ppl priorise stuff? Is it because of level of interest? is it just because to meet deadlines? Or is it just because u feel like it? Sometimes it's frightening to see how different ppl perceived different stuff and the different actions that comes along with it. Take for instance, what if your frenz stood u up and he didnt even apologize, how will you feel? What if ppl juz throw last minute work to u when u have your own stuff to do? Does that mean that u have to sacrifice your own stuff in order to help out your frens when in harsh reality, you are just picking up your friends' pieces only. Or how about having frenz who claim to organise something soon but the fact is this is always at the last of his priority list?

Ventura '06 part 2
Now blogging part 2 of the ventura '06.
Day4
War games at aloha loyang. The water bombs are damm gross sia. Imagine a water bomb filled with sea weeds, fishes and crabs. What the hell!! The freshies had only pure water water-bomb while the seniors are equppied with such destructive water bombs. But at least i never bomb my own og mates. I only used it on other og's freshies. Whaha.
Now after which is sp tekan-ing session. Each guy also supposed to go to various rooms to find their sp and before they are allowed to identity their sp. They are made to do a series a riduculous stuff before they are allowed to bring their sp out on a hot date. Sounds fun right? Too bad this year didnt have much time to tekan the freshies so they are heng.
Then after that is just dinner at olio and clubbing at DXO.
Day5:
I think the most memorable is the cheer fight between ogs. Imagine 3 ogs allied against 1 og. How is that og going to win? Whahah. Think that og quite bu shaung with the rest of the ogs but we don't care. Anyway the cheerfight is quite poorly planned. They never asy it is competing on the loudness of the cheer. If so, our og need not rehearse the cheers with the actions over and over again. Haizzz. But this cheerfight is quite an good idea. Well that's the end of the foc. Time for some pics....

Ventura '06
Wohooo. just back from Ventura '06. Certainly a camp not to be missed. Everyday there will be sabotage and stupid acts to be noticed. Well some recaps of the camp events.
Day 1:
Meet the freshies at Boon Lay mrt. Play some ice-breaker games before starting on banner painting. Time was tight but our group managed to come out the nicest banner design (what i personally feel) out of the 4 ogs. All thankx to the creater, felicia.
After the banner design, we proceed to play 'Tour-the-NTU' game. This game basically is to familarise the freshies with NTU. This way they won't be so lost when school starts for them.
Then in the night comes one of the highlight- initiation night. All the freshies are blind-folded and are lead to various places by the gls. The freshies are sabo by the programmers badly and perhaps on the first day of camp, they regretted joining this camp. Whaha. But throught this initatition night, at least the freshies will bond together since they go thru' thick and thin le.
Day2:
They are having pools game and the freshies begin to cheer for each other after the initiation night. Then for my og, they are the winner for the pool game segment. Great job. Then comes another highlight of the camp, that is the night games. The night is quite creative and fun. Each OGs are supposed to go to stations to stations on time. But along the way, they can go and learn specials skills by lara croft, sailor moon, ru hua, flintstone, yi mei dao zhang and harry potter. The skill-masters's outfits are damm hilarous. The moves they imparted to the OGs are funny too. This segment should be included in the future FOCs.
DAy 3:
Day 3 is tiring. It's the start of amazing race. From the first station, I can feel the tiredness le. Imagine climbing up the stairs from src to nanyang house twice. You can die lor. But still, we managed to endure and run from a check-point to another check-point. Then after lunch, my og run from places to places even though they seem reluctant. They are so paisei to run about in cityhall that area. Haha. FOC is the only time that you can do the most stupid things in your life.
Then after the amazing race, we go over to sentosa to rescue one of our gls. But in order to do so, we need to build a raft and paddle over to a so-called island to rescue her. Compared to innue, our raft is quite steady. Their raft break halfway and i can see mingchye swimming in the water. Haha. What a hilarious sight.
Then comes the fright night. I think this year fright night is not as good as last year. No offence to the organising committees. I think the guys are quite bored by this fright night which takes up so much time. By the time they reached back aloha chalet, they are so tired but they still can't sleep. I pitied them sia. They still got sp interaction and i can see their weary faces. For this sp interaction, they are blind-folded and told to talk to their respective sps. Then the only thing I can do is go around and eaves-drop their conservation. Some of the conversation are so funny and the male freshies thought they are touching the gals' hands or knee. What a sight sia. They should video-tapped the converstation down. Then I managed to trick a freshie to sing a song for gina. I wonder if till now he knows that he's kena sabo ornot? This freshie and gina pair attracts quite a number of audience.
Alrite that's all for the moment. Will continue day 4 and 5 later. Will post the pics once i received them.

Back to the bumming days
What a week of enjoyment. No more picking up of calls. No more staying up late to watch soccer. No no more betting. Now can plan to enjoy the remaining holidays. Now everyday i kickoff the day by msn-ing, asking ppl what's the plan for today and so on. I'm feeling damn bored lor. Not enough khakis to play badminton or basketball. Think the only sport i can do now is to swim or run. Actually i planned to start training for ippt from this very moment but im too lazy for that. Or anyone wana pei me train? Got incentive de, if want ask me lor.Whahah
Today damn suay sia. Kicking off the day with my hands clutching into my stomach. This is one of the most stomachache i experience so much lor. I slept at 5 plus and woke up at 7 plus lor. All thankx to this stupid stomach. Im so tired and yet my stomach refused to comply and further torture me physically and mentally. Haizzzz. At the very least, now im starting to get better le. Later still going to east coast for cycling and makan-ing session. Hope i will feel okay later and the weather will not turn bad against me.

My Oh My
It has been ard 1 mth since i last updated this blog. Dun have much mood to blog nowdays le.
Some updates of my job:
Been working at paradiz center till 5am from monday to friday. So tiring. The only perk is that i get to work and watch the world cup matches at the same time. And also the money is not bad too. The downside? I have sleeping disorder le. My bioclock is super duper screwed up le. Those ppl who have difficulty sleeping in the nite can find me le. I'm the offically ye mao zi le.
But speaking of this job, it's coming to an end since World cup is ending soon. Next week will be my last day of work le. Now the question? Should i extend this job? I think this will be one of the few jobs that i managed to forge friendship with colleagues. Most prob due to the fact we are all young adults ba. It's a nice working environment nonetheless. So who wants to meet up???
Other than selling my soul to sgpoolz on weekdays, I still have social life on wkends lor. Going out, watching world-cup is still a must for me. Anyway just been to East coast park recently. The place has changed quite a lot le. There's cable ski over there and a beach sand-castle too. The ppl over there too bo liao le. They can even build a kingdom using the beach sand. I really admire their patience and endurance. At that moment i feel that throwing myself into the kindom and destroyed their sandcastle.Whahhaha. Too bad i dun have any pic to show. You guys check out the place yourself lor.
And ytd I received a gift. It's the most memorable gift I ever received. It's certainly brightens my day sia.

A prequel to FOC
Spend my sat and sun attending the senior camp. Consequences? A sun-burnt me and my face is so red. I can imagine that later when i take train, everyone will be looking at the sunburnt me.
Sat: Went to sch early in the morn for this senior camp. I slept at ard 4plus the nite before, therefore was damm tired upon reaching sch. Anyway managed to see those MIA_ing gls and the SAs available. My grp is so pathetic, only got 3 gals. Yin and yang not even sia. But at least, the OG is crap enough lor. They duno each other and yet still can behave as if they know each other. Some of them are even my bro's friends. So qiao sia. Then after which we go try out the games planned by the programmers. Overall i think the games are not bad, just need a bit of fine-tuning here and there and they need to brush up on their explanation of the games. Its so so confusing. But being programmers is tough and must give them credit for their effort.
Sun: Skipped the amazing race part as I'm too tired from the over-nite mj. But heard my group take the longest time to complete the amazing race. Whahah. So, are the programmers pissed off by our group? Then I re-joined the group at harbourfront to go SENTOSA. Long time never go sentosa le. Some of the contructions had been completed thus sentosa seems a bit different now. Then the sentosa today is super crowded sia. There's a family day event going on at palawan beach and hence it's damm crowded. Then we proceed to play beach games and I think the poisoned captain ball is a disaster. Whahah. More rules have to be laid down I guess. If not, everyone will just thunder the ball to their respective goalie.
Well it seems the programs lined up is of a certain standard. Food-wise, it still not that appetising. Gls-wise, it seems all are quiet open and fun-loving except for one. Lucky she not in my og for the actual camp. Hope that the freshies this year will be of out-going personality ba.

work work work
Ytd, just completed a night shift work at paradiz center. Not too tiring since my shift ended at 1am. My others frenz are still ard doing till 2.45am. Haha.
Anyway I think Sgpoolz very welfare sia. Booked merc cab for all the employees to go home. Shiok. Speaking of this job, the pay is not bad but it's on and off jobs. Guess that when the World Cup starts they will need more ppl ba. One thing i hate about this is that I have to speak proper chinese to customers. Alamak, I long time never use chinese conversation le. Most of the time I will be using rojak language. Whahah. And yet, ytd I got ard 5 chinese-speaking customers. Panicked sia. Don't know why ytd so suay. Arghhh. Last time in sec sch, I should have learn chinese properly.
Anyway, for the current job, I'm still unsure whether to carry on doing or change another job. I have acccepted another job offer from the agency but I think I respond too late le. So now keeping my options open lor. For this holiday, I received 3 bank jobs offers till now le. Wonder is I heng or currently banks are shortage of manpower. Those still jobless can try your luck with those sg banks.
Now it's NBA Western and Eastern finals. This year there is no domiant force. All having equal chances to win NBA title. Anyway just discovered a new thing recently, you can watch NBA live in your computer. Those interested then ask me lor.

Cathay Cineplex
Watched MI3 at the brand new Cathay Cineplex. The show rox. The sound system rox. Ample of leg rest for TALL ppl. And the seat is spacious too. Best thing is that the usher will show you to your respective seating. A truly dedicated service. I wonder how long can this good service last.
1 thing to note. The shops at that shopping center haven't opened yet so if you are finding some place to makan, you can only go paradiz center or PS. But i think once the crowd come pouring in, this decidcated service will be gone and this place will be just like any other commercialised cinema. Anyway for the time being, thumbs up for this Cathay Cineplex. Worth the time to travel there.
Anyway recently just clocked my timing for 2.4km. Current timing is around 1130. I guess still have to shed around 2 mins to achieve gold standard. Worse come to worse, i lower my expectation to silver standard. I will give myself a maximum of 1 mth to train up for my ippt.
Do note tuesday is the best day to eat ice-cream waffles(either rum and rasins or banana walnut). Delicious.
1 thing to note. The shops at that shopping center haven't opened yet so if you are finding some place to makan, you can only go paradiz center or PS. But i think once the crowd come pouring in, this decidcated service will be gone and this place will be just like any other commercialised cinema. Anyway for the time being, thumbs up for this Cathay Cineplex. Worth the time to travel there.
Anyway recently just clocked my timing for 2.4km. Current timing is around 1130. I guess still have to shed around 2 mins to achieve gold standard. Worse come to worse, i lower my expectation to silver standard. I will give myself a maximum of 1 mth to train up for my ippt.
Do note tuesday is the best day to eat ice-cream waffles(either rum and rasins or banana walnut). Delicious.

drinking and book-reading theory!!!
In lala land till now. Ytd jus had 3 rounds of mj. Really can die lor. The third round of mahjong I dun even know what I'm playing. Can't't even concentrate le. Next time shall play MAX 2 rounds.
And speaking of relationship, how shd the guys behave? To be the fairy-tale gentleman whereby the guy always treats the gal and send her home? To all the gfs who expect your bf to be like that, I think this is very straining on your bf unles he owns a car or damm rich. To gf, this might be the showing of love but to a bf, this is quite tiring. This shd be not be done all the times. And yz your drinking theory on r/s is interesting and certainly is a model for relationship right from the start.

But sometimes accidents do happen. While you are reading, coffee might spill on your book. Or your naughty nephew might come along and tear away a page. So what should you do? Just ignore the flaws of the book or junk it away? Well that's your call.
And then sometimes you will take ages to finish a book while sometimes u can finish a book in a less than a day. So, is the book you are reading at the moment thick or thin, interesting or boring? You decide yourself. Whahaha

Boring Monday
What a boring monday to begin with. IT's not to usual monday that you have stuff to begin with. There's practically nth to do and I just wana slack at hm. Anyway today is the start of special sem 1 and reb is taking spanish. I wana take spanish too but the stupid ntu reject my application. Sianzz diao.
Back to some sports news, Lakers is OUT. Didn't expected that since kobe has been playing unselfishly until game 6. In game 6, he scored 50 points but that doesn't translate into a win for his team. I hate to admit but he's a good player. He shd learn how to play like a team player. Anyway a leapord cannot change its spots and lakers won't improve as long as the team is built around him. Anyway this same thing is applicable to our everyday life. There are ppl who don't team skills and often assert their superiorty over others. But in a team there are also ppl who are not contributing, so the problems lie with who? Regardless in sports or sch work there will definitely have such people and i guess there's nth much you can do but to try to gel.
Alrite now to an interesting topics on guys. A few days back someone was telling me that guys are very smart in chasing gals. Instead of using the conventional method of knowing the gal directly, he will know her frenz first and build a rapport around her frenz before knowing the gal. This encounter seems simliar to someone i know. Haha. Some ppl really go to great lengths to chase the girl he likes. Sometimes i feel that if i'm the girl, i will be so fan gan by him since he only behave abnormally in front of her and not his other frenz. Then she mentioned that guys generally have motive for knowing a gal. Wau lau. That's a sweeping statement lor. Definitely there will be some girls who are attractive enough to catch your attention but this does not mean you will like that person. Now is the 21st century le. Friendship between girl and guy is possible, right?

Another day of holiday
Just back frm a job interview at Paradiz Center. So many ppl applying for the same job sia. I wonder if i still can get the job after the training period. Well, this is a shift work which means I will get those graveyard shifts. Omg, there goes my sleep. Next time you will see a zombie lurking around in cck.
Ytd something very suay happened. I and justus lost money in mj. And the problem is the 2 person are noobs. Is that the famous begginner's luck theory? Or just that I'm plain unlucky ytd? They can just get those animals or flowers at ease while I'm struggling to chi or even pong. Super down on luck or maybe the yin qi too strong le. Then rh and kc are playing mj today again. haha, they are hardcore gambler sia. Playing mj everyday and i can imagine they will sleeptalk,"Pong Pong Hu. Chi. Gang.". Haha.

2.4km time trial...
Got see my new blog layout or not? Nice rite?? I think the person who create this blog skin spent a lot of time and effort on it and here I am, using this blogskin and modifying his blog layout. Wohooo.
Anyway just back from cck stadium. And u know i am doing wat? I am training for ippt run. Unbelievable rite? I still rem last time during those ippt training i always keng and come in last de. I HATE to run one. The only time i will run is during the actual ippt test or those cross-country compeition. Now i hate to admit but I'm OLD le. No longer i can take my ability to run for granted. Every stride i took is discouraging and it seems that my own mind is telling me," Time to stop. You can't run at this age." Then I can feel my leg muscles telling me,"Ouch. Ouch. That hurts." I think now must train seriously le. Lets see if I can achieve gold timing by June. From now to june, I shall run at least once a week. Those who need to take ippt this year, it's time to train and get gold!!!

Finally exam is over le. Time to junk all my sch-related stuff le. Time to party lor. Ytd just watched the korean movie 'Daisy'. Then now i think koreans are very pessimistic cos they everytime end with such a tragic ending. Haizzz. If im the male lead i will go knock my head against the wall lor. Imagine you do a lot of things for your loved one and your credits is snatched by someone else. Poor thing. Okay, I shall not be a spoiler and reveal the plot. For more details, go and watch the movie.
So for this holiday there's lots of stuff that i can do. Besides those stuff i mention in the previous post, there's still WORLD CUP and NBA FINALS. Hopefully this year can see nets vs dallas in the finals. But i tink piston got a greater chance of advancing to the finals than nets and spurs most likely will beat dallas. But life is unpredictable and how knows, bulls might enter the NBA finals for the first time since jordan-less era.
And to that bloody edward, in case u happened to stumble onto this site, you are a damm LOSER. What's the point of proclaiming how NUS is high and mighty to me. To me, it's just another school and it's not as if I couldn't make it to NUS. NUS may be more prestigious than NTU but I dun see other ppl from NUS keep on hao-lianing. Anyway so what if you are damm smart? That doesn't mean you can kan bu qi other ppl and in other aspects of abilites, u will definitely lose out to me. it's time for u to learn humaility.

muahahahah. So must dust here le. Finally one last paper to go le. I know most of you finished your exam le, so dun hao lian. The poor me still suffering but at least all is going to be over soon. To POT fans, POT part 2 aka POT ova is out le. pf, bet you duno rite? ryoma is back from US open to join in the national schools compeition. Damm nice to watch lor. Anyway the bleach also interesting to watch. After exam got lots of things to do lor.

Juz had my lunch over there. Now still very very full lor. Well,this is a authentic japanese buffet restaurant located at suntec. The vareity they offered is a lot and the queue was damm bloody long lor. Better be there early if you want to eat there. Dont know why i never notice this place until today.
Oh well the campus superstar jus concluded and the Winner goes to ..... Ziyang. He's good i would say and his stage prescene suddenly improved after the duet with sin huey. Amazing rite? At first i thought tersea will win hands down lor but feels that she sings well only. That's the only plus points for her.
Well i tink that those particpants in the show are damm courageous lor. Imagine having to carry yourself in the public eye and toking to media, i tink i will be freaked out. haha. But it's a very gd exposure. Speaking of expsoure, I still have a presentation to go. Haizzz. Now sneezing my life away and coughing my blood out le. Is fever next on the list?how to present like that!!!!!
